Scorpion Cross Country Teams Win PVL Titles
Congratulations to both the boys and girls Cross Country teams for each winning the PVL League Title this season. On November 5, both teams ran a new course at College Park for the championship, but it didn’t seem to slow them down. Junior Heyden Wooff brought home another individual championship and led the boys Scorpions to their third straight PVL title -- their ninth in the past 11 years. Cross Country Championships Held on October 30
Camarillo High junior Heyden Wooff took home the boys title at the Ventura County Cross Country Championships, with a time of 15:16. This is the second year in a row that Heyden has won the championship, which was held this year at Lake Casitas in Ojai. Girls’ Volleyball Scorpions Beat Oxnard
The Camarillo High School Girls’ Volleyball team beat Oxnard on Thursday, October 29, in an exciting and important contest. The Scorpions four-game win over the Yellowjackets, 26-24, 23-25, 25-20, 25-22, puts both teams at the top of the Pacific View League. The Scorpions’ record is now 15-10, 7-1. Camarillo Scorpions DIG PINK!
Our Girls Volleyball Teams are hosting a DIG PINK Volleyball Event to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness on Thursday, October 29th.
