Booster

ACHS Athletic Booster Club

Helping our students succeed through sports.

The ACHS Athletic Booster Club was founded in 1982 with the purpose of providing our student athletes with additional funds and opportunities so that they could excel and represent Adolfo Camarillo High School in a positive manner. Our vision is to enhance the experience our athletes have while participating in sports programs beyond what the school budget can provide. We do this by providing financial support raised through our fundraising activities. The ACHS Athletic Boosters share your belief that by helping our students succeed in sports we also help them succeed in life!

Since its inception, the Booster Club has been instrumental in partnering with the school to make our athletic programs more enjoyable, safer, and more competitive. Some of these activities include:

  • Sponsoring the three sports awards ceremonies annually, covering all the costs
  • Providing and maintaining a new sound system for the stadium and gym, which benefits track,
    soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling, Camarillo youth football programs,
    and community events like the Camarillo 4th of July extravaganza
  • Providing multi-angle filming of the varsity football games
  • Making highlight DVDs available to the varsity players of all 22 teams for college recruiters
  • Managing and funding the snack bar operations, which provides funding for all sports at ACHS
  • Providing the home game announcer for JV and Freshman football and basketball
  • Building a new snack bar
  • Providing fundraising opportunities for all sports, by hanging large corporate banners in the stadium
  • Making a Fall Media Guide available for fundraising for all sports and clubs at ACHS

These programs have fostered the efforts of the more than 1000 students that participate in the 22 different sports ACHS has to offer every year.
